If College Park wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Conroe, they should've done a better job of containing Everly Cumpian. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over the Cavaliers on Tuesday with plenty of help from Cumpian, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 12 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Taylor Smith, who posted nine points. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

College Park's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Smith, who had 12 points along with seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Westwood, who earned ten points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Conroe and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for College Park, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Conroe will head out to face off against Atascocita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for College Park, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-40 loss against Waxahachie on the 4th.
