 Meanwhile, Sedro-Woolley came tearing into  Saturday's  game with nine straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Borderites as they made off with  an  18-3 win. Surprisingly, this marked the Cubs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
 Sedro-Woolley pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Lakewood,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-6.
 Lakewood suffered a grim  15-5 defeat to Sedro-Woolley  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
