Naperville North's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Plainfield South Cougars 10-3. The match marked the Huskies' most dominant win of the season so far.

Yash Desai looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Matt Sonnenschein was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Chuck LaScala was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Naperville North hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters every time they've taken the field this season.
