 On Scott's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Addy Javins, who  went 1-for-1 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Logan pushed their record up to 7-2 with that  victory, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs per game. As for Scott,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-4.
 Logan will head out on the road to  challenge  Hoover at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for Scott, they are on the road again  on Monday to play Cabell Midland at 5:30  p.m. Cabell Midland will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something Scott surely won't give up without a fight.
