Silver Creek was led to victory by Luke Schmeeckle and Zander Storz. Schmeeckle scored 13 points along with two steals, while Storz almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ashoka Surkhang, who scored nine points.
Defeat or not, Centaurus got some senior leadership from Jameson Love and Cade Falzone. Love scored seven points along with five steals, while Falzone. scored nine points along with five rebounds. Falzone is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Silver Creek pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Centaurus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Silver Creek will head out on the road to face off against Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mead is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.7 points per game this season.
