In what's become a running theme this season, the Eastbrook Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 70-22 victory over Adams Central at home. Eastbrook is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 14 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastbrook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Morrison, who scored 23 points along with five assists and three steals. Olivia Howell was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Eastbrook's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.5 points. As for Adams Central, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Eastbrook will head out on the road to face off against Blackford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Blackford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday. As for Adams Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Adams Central likes a good challenge.
