GAMBRILLS, Md. - The defense did their part on the scoring end for for
Arundel (Gambrills, Md.) on Saturday, totaling 12 points as the Wildcats beat North County (Glen Burnie, Md.) 68-0.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Wildcats led 47-0 at the half.

Even though the Gambrills school led by 54 points at the start of the fourth quarter, it didn't let up, scoring 14 in the quarter.
Anthony Messenger stood out for the Wildcats in the win. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
When the two teams played each other last season, Arundel came away with a 49-13 victory.
The win was a nice bounce back for AHS, which lost to Old Mill last week, 24-14.
Arundel (2-1) goes up against Glen Burnie in a Anne Arundel County game matchup next week, while North County (1-2) locks horns with Northeast also in a Anne Arundel County game.
