The biggest upset of the week belonged to Osceola, who took down 81st ranked Corning, 52-14.
Rivercrest extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region 3 this week by beating Piggott, 48-16. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Rivercrest's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Phillip Porter threw for 49 and one touchdown and Timothy Talley had 72 yards receiving. On the ground Cecil Langston chipped in 80 yards. Greg Winford helped Rivercrest's passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
Rivercrest's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colts feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Porter has thrown for 371 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Kani Turner has nine catches for 157 yards. Porter also leads the league in rushing with 356 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Seminoles take on Earle. Osceola is currently in second, while the Bulldogs are in third.
Russell Leggett's team took down the Bobcats 52-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
