A well-balanced attack led the Ridgway Demons over the Crested Butte Titans in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Ridgway walked away with a 33-21 win over Crested Butte. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgway.
Ridgway's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddie Miller, who scored nine points along with five steals and two blocks. Miller hasn't dropped below three steals for seven straight games. Sophia Scranton was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Ridgway pushed their record up to 6-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Crested Butte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Ridgway will head out on the road to face off against De Beque at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. De Beque comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Crested Butte, they will be playing at home against Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Norte's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Crested Butte's offense will have their work cut out for them.
