Wenonah came out on top in a nail-biter against Whitehaven on Saturday and snuck past 50-47. That's another feather in the cap for Wenonah, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Samarian Franklin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Wenonah's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Blanks, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
Wenonah's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Whitehaven, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
