It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Terrell Tigers can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 51-28 walloping at the hands of Texas on Friday. While losing is never fun, Terrell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Texas is ranked 31st).
Javari Johnson was a one-man wrecking crew for Texas as he rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns. Tradarian Ball also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.
Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Texas, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Terrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Texas will take on Mansfield Summit at TBD on Friday. Mansfield Summit is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
