The Stone Ridge Christian Knights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Elliot Christian on the road to the tune of 95-43. That 52 points margin sets a new team best for Stone Ridge Christian this season.
It was another big night for Kassius Salazar, who scored 22 points along with seven steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Parker, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
The victory was the third in a row for Stone Ridge Christian, bringing their record for this year to 14-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38 points. As for Elliot Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Stone Ridge Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Big Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Big Valley Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Stone Ridge Christian a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Elliot Christian will take on Turlock Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Turlock Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
