The Shullsburg Miners were the 56-45 winners over the Potosi Chieftains when they previously met last month. On Thursday? They had no such luck. Shullsburg was completely outmatched by Potosi at home and fell 82-42.
The Miners' overall record fell to 9-14. Potosi's win brought them up to 15-6.
The Miners will square off against River Ridge next week. Shullsburg is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Potosi will look to defend their home court next week against Belmont.
