The St. Anne Catholic Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Providence Classical at home and fell 75-38. St. Anne Catholic has not had much luck with Providence Classical recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Providence Classical had a senior duo take command as Xan Rahalawicz dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds and Isaac Martin dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Rahalawicz is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 20 games he's played. Bryson Lahr was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
St. Anne Catholic's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Providence Classical, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
St. Anne Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Classical, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lee Park Prep at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th. Providence Classical is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
