On Friday, Tri-Valley was the victim of a tough 54-32 defeat at the hands of Port Jervis.
Leading Port Jervis to victory were Isaiah Boucher and Carroll Dolshun. Boucher scored 24 points along with five rebounds, while Dolshun scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and four steals. The contest was Boucher's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Campbell, who scored no points along with four steals.
Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Port Jervis, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.
Tri-Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sullivan West at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Port Jervis, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
