Baseball Recap: Scott Wins Going Away Against Tolsia

Scott won the last time they faced Tolsia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Skyhawks put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 16-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Skyhawks.

Scott got a massive performance out of Louden White, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that White has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter McClung, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Scott was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March.

Scott's record is now 19-6-2. As for Tolsia, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Coming up, Scott is taking a road trip to face off against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Skyhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tolsia, they will face off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rebels surely won't give up without a fight.
