Liberty Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brandon Lohmann, who scored 19 points. Easton Hupp was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Houston Christian pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.5 points per game. As for Liberty Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston Christian will take on Concordia Lutheran at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Concordia Lutheran has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 385 points over their last six matchups. As for Liberty Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kemp at 7:30 p.m.
