Burney won the last time they faced Chester and Liam Von Schalscha did his part to make sure it happened again. The Raiders strolled past the Volcanoes with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-34 for which the team can thank Von Schalscha, who rushed for 372 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards.

Burney's defensive line made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Brent Cusworth refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Burney got some further help from Greeley Wolfin: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Burney's record is now 6-4. As for Chester, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Burney will venture away from home to challenge Butte Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. Chester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
