Football Recap: Westview Skates Past Bellevue East with Ease

Westview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Bellevue East Chieftains 41-0. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 35 points or more this season.

Westview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Scott Miner II, who threw for 150 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 63 yards. Miner II's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wolverines' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Sage Giddings was another key rusher, rushing for 181 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.
