Fort Vancouver has won three straight games at home, while Seton Catholic has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Trappers will host the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Fort Vancouver's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
On Thursday, Fort Vancouver made easy work of Stevenson and carried off a 16-6 win. Considering the Trappers have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Lincoln Freeman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because Fort Vancouver is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-4 otherwise. Freeman was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Fort Vancouver was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Seton Catholic sidestepped Prairie for a 5-4 victory.
Like Fort Vancouver, Seton Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Jack Williams. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Williams has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Wieczorek got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI, while Ruelas got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Wieczorek has posted since back in April of 2024. Dalton Woods was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
The win got Fort Vancouver back to even at 5-5. As for Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fort Vancouver has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .550. However, it's not like Seton Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .461. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
