Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evansville Christian). They secured a 57-51 W over the Vincennes Rivet Patriots on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Evansville Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Vincennes Rivet, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Evansville Christian will take on Purdue Poly Englewood in a tournament on Saturday. As for Vincennes Rivet, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Washington Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Vincennes Rivet is facing Washington Catholic at the right time seeing as Washington Catholic is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
