The Flora Wolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 61-45. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Flora as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City still got an impressive performance from Ruby Stuckemeyer, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Stuckemeyer is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Macee Rodman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Flora's victory bumped their record up to 7-22. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flora will take on the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Salem is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
