BVCHEA HomeSchool extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Charlie Pote. The Mustangs walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Alpha Omega Academy Lions on Friday for which the team can thank Pote, who rushed for 219 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 152 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.

BVCHEA HomeSchool didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Pote. Another thorn in Alpha Omega Academy's side was Boone Tucker, who forced one fumble and made 11 total tackles.

BVCHEA HomeSchool's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Alpha Omega Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. BVCHEA HomeSchool will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Alpha Omega Academy, they will square off against Brazosport Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
