In other batting news, Danielle Lozoya was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Escontrias, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Burges were a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 9-1 defeat at the hands of Parkland. Burges has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ysleta's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-1. As for Burges, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7-1.
