Denver West won the last time they faced DSST: College View and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Denver West Cowboys put the hurt on the DSST: College View Wolves with a sharp 65-45 victory. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Denver West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Parker out in front who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ari Cowens, who went 7-for-10 en route to 21 points.

Despite the loss, DSST: College View still got an impressive performance from Isaias Tomita, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 19 points and seven steals. Tomita is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least seven every time he's taken the court this season. Mike Perez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Denver West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points over those games. As for DSST: College View, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

Denver West and DSST: College View should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. Denver West will take on Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 267 places (41 vs. 308). Denver West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season. Similarly, DSST: College View (ranked 134th) will meet KIPP Denver Collegiate (ranked 324th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
