Basketball Recap: Kansas City East Christian Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Kansas City East Christian Academy entered their game against Faith Christian Academy on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Faith Christian Academy Knights. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Kansas City East Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryder Cartwright, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most boards Cartwright has posted since back in December of 2024. Maddox Carrillo was another key player, putting up 12 points.
