Nipmuc Regional's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Kelly led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of James McKinney, who scored 16 points.
Whitinsville Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caleb Deters, who scored 16 points, and Cam Desmarais who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Desmarais scored 15 or more points. Isaiah Plantinga was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Nipmuc Regional has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Whitinsville Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nipmuc Regional will take on Sutton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
