Poca had lost three straight on the road, but  on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They had to suffer through  a    44-0 loss at the hands of the Roane County Raiders. The Dots were not able to make up for their  loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
As for Roane County, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 26  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roane County to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Garrett Brabham, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of  scores on only eight carries. Brabham also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  0.5  sacks and making two total tackles. Roane County also got a significant boost from  Koltyn Starcher, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 104 yards.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Poca will head out to  challenge Sherman  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Roane County, they will venture away from home to  face off against Tyler  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
