Reagan County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jarrett Brown, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Brown has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kason Brown, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Reagan County pushed their record up to 23-6 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Ozona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.
Reagan County will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Water Valley has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19. As for Ozona, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
