The Quincy Orioles won the last time they faced the Athens Indians, and things went their way  on Monday too. Quincy took down Athens 52-34.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Deziray Skirka, who  scored 15 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Skirka has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa McCavit, who  scored 19 points along with six  rebounds.
 Quincy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record  this season. As for Athens, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Quincy has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Maple Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on February 20th. Hopefully Quincy focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 28 on Monday. As for Athens, they will head out on the road to  challenge  St. Philip Catholic Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
