Rosemont came up short against Union Mine on Tuesday, falling 9-3.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch made easy work of El Dorado on Tuesday and carried off a 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.
Liberty Ranch also got a great performance from Laura Quinn as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Quinn has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

Barrantes went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Juarez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Juarez a new career-high. Carlie Perez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Liberty Ranch's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Rosemont, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16-1.
