Jonesboro extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-11 in the process. They lost 16-4 to the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. As for North Little Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8. The result was nothing new for the Charging Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
On North Little Rock's side, Presley Stewart and Londyn Dempster were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Stewart pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Dempster tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Stewart has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Stewart went 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs, while Dempster got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
