After a string of four wins, the Summit Classical Christian School Archers's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell to Chief Leschi 59-54.
Despite the loss, Summit Classical Christian School still got an impressive performance from Trey Hodo, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Hodo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Simon, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Summit Classical Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Chief Leschi, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Classical Christian School will take on Crosspoint at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crosspoint is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Chief Leschi won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Raymond at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Raymond focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday.
