The Poudre Impalas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Erie 62-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Poudre has suffered yet this season.
Several Impalas players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Foster, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Cornell-nosaka, who scored ten points.
Poudre has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Erie, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poudre will face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Erie, they will head out on the road to face off against Northglenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
