A Season-Best Performance from Creyo Koop Leads West Elk over Cedar Vale/Dexter
West Elk was led to victory by Creyo Koop, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Koop wasn't messing around, picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 92 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The matchup was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. Argonia/Attica picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carson Vineyard. Nobody could stop Vineyard as he rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
For the year, Vineyard has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 24.6 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to ten.

Trent Haag Has Career Rushing Day
Trent Haag produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Elk to the win on Friday. Haag rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Haag has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 133.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 28 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 58.4 rushing yards.

Cordell Jordan's big game helped extend Oxford's winning streak to three on Friday.
