Even though the Sotomayor Wolves scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Marquez Gladiators still came out on top. Marquez secured a 63-59 W over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back wins for Marquez.
Marquez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lamont White Jr, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Elyjah Staples was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Marquez has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Sotomayor, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11.
Marquez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sotomayor also has no future games currently scheduled.
