Logan/Palco has not had much luck with Wheatland-Grinnell recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Logan/Palco lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ansley Delimont. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Wheatland-Grinnell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Bixenman, who scored 13 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bixenman has scored at least 25% of Wheatland-Grinnell's points. Karoline Schroeder was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Logan/Palco's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Logan/Palco is on the road again on Friday and play against Central Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Wheatland-Grinnell will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wallace County at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th.
