Spanaway Lake pushed their score all the way to 62 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Lakes 68-62.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid win over the Lancers on Wednesday, taking the game 62-51. Given Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Lancers are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Spanaway Lake's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
