The Hamilton Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Itasca Wampus Cats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Hamilton strolled past Frost with points to spare, taking the game 63-49.
It was another big night for Jaxon Edwards, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rogelio Ibarra, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Itasca unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 60-26 loss at the hands of Rio Vista. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Itasca has scored all season.
Hamilton now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Itasca, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.
Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Itasca in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 52-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamilton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
