If the Life Center Academy Warriors were feeling good off their 72-29 takedown of The City School Lions last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Life Center Academy fell 79-71 to Sports Leadership & Management on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Life Center Academy still got an impressive performance from Elijah Brown, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Al-Tariq Reevey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sports Leadership & Management to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ramone Seals, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Seals has scored at least a third of Sports Leadership & Management's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel MacGregor, who scored 19 points along with six assists and four steals.
Life Center Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-9. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Life Center Academy will take on Solebury at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will be playing at home against Patel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Patel will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 624th, while Sports Leadership & Management is ranked 54th).
