Northeast is 7-1 against the Jets since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Northeast Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Altoona-Midway Jets at 5:00 p.m. Northeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Northeast scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Jayhawk Linn 62-43.
Even though Altoona-Midway has not done well against the Indians recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Altoona-Midway walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Indians. The victory was just what Altoona-Midway needed coming off of a 70-45 loss in their prior game.
It was another big night for William Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. Stackhouse is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kieran Foster, who scored 15 points.
Northeast's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Altoona-Midway, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Northeast beat the Jets 57-48 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Northeast repeat their success, or do the Jets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
