The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears won the last time they faced the Crofton Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge put the hurt on Crofton with a sharp 69-49 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge can attribute much of their success to Kolby Hansen, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gibson Roberts, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Crofton still got an impressive performance from Jace Foxhoven, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Pinkelman, who scored 11 points.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Crofton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will take on Homer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crofton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Boyd County at 7:30 p.m.
