Section 3 Class B - East recap Oct. 16, 2012
Camden moved up to 136 from 168 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 3 Class B - East. The Blue Devils climbed the ranks as a result of a bye.
Cazenovia extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating South Jefferson, 59-22. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Lakers.
Oneida's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rory McCarthy threw for 99 and one touchdown and Kyle Peck had 79 yards receiving. On the ground Kyle George chipped in 124 yards. Matt Hood helped Oneida's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Oneida's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. McCarthy has thrown for 514 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Peck has 22 catches for 394 yards. Dylan Cafalone leads the league in rushing with 776 yards.
The Indians took down New Hartford 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. George in the win.
