The Founders Classical Academy Archers posted their biggest win since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on IDEA Parmer with a sharp 44-19 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Founders Classical Academy.
Leading Founders Classical Academy to victory were Mary Tavarez and Faith Buterbaugh. Tavarez dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Buterbaugh dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Buterbaugh has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Anna Mishler, who scored four points along with three steals.
The victory got Founders Classical Academy back to even at 9-9. As for IDEA Parmer, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Founders Classical Academy will be playing at home against KIPP Austin Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for IDEA Parmer, they will head out on the road to face off against Valor North Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
