Living Word Lutheran's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kaleah Alles, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Delaney Winkelmann, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Winkelmann is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Hailey Luedtke was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lake Country Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Living Word Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 21-1.
Lake Country Lutheran couldn't quite finish off Living Word Lutheran in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 47-45.
