This Week's Big Showdown
One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Rutland (2nd in the power rankings) and Rice Memorial (4th). Rutland battled it out with Rice Memorial for a well-earned 49 - 26 overtime win. The victory raised Rutland up two spots in the power rankings.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
It was another outing, another victory last week for the team with the longest stretch of success (six consecutive games). Woodstock picked up a decisive 'W' against Poultney, finishing up at 50 - 13. As a result, Woodstock rose one spot in the power rankings.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Mt. Mansfield (5th in the power rankings) and Hartford (3rd). This will be the second home game in a row for Hartford. Mt. Mansfield and Hartford can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
