Basketball Recap: Pendleton Has No Trouble Against Redmond

Pendleton hadn't done well against Redmond recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Buckaroos came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 68-57. The matchup marked the Buckaroos' most dominant win of the season.

Jubal Hoisington had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Elrod, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points and seven boards.

Pendleton was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory (which was Pendleton's third in a row) raised their record to 5-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Redmond, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Pendleton will welcome Baker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Redmond has already played their next game (against La Grande), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
