Mitchell won the last time they faced Trezevant and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers breezed past the Bears to the tune of 49-6. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Trezevant still got an impressive performance from Terry Tucker lll, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Mitchell and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Trezevant, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Mitchell will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fairley at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 10.9 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Trezevant, they will be playing at home against Sheffield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
