ROWVA/Williamsfield won the last time they faced Abingdon/Avon and things went their way on Monday too. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tornadoes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

ROWVA/Williamsfield easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21.

Sawyer Secrist paced ROWVA/Williamsfield's offense, picking up 13 kills. Secrist got some help from Tori Trotter and her 21 assists. Secrist was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Abingdon/Avon, they dropped their record down to 1-23 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
