St. Thomas Aquinas came tearing into  Saturday's  contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Plant Panthers by a score of  3-1. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the   3-2 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.
 The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 21-25,  25-17.
 Isabella Sangha paced St. Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up 16 kills. Sangha got some help from  Hailey Trebbien and her 23 assists. Finally,  Violette Zayas kept St. Thomas Aquinas' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
St. Thomas Aquinas' record now sits at 6-3. As for Plant, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
 Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Venice at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Plant, they will venture away from home to  take on Sickles  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
